We Are Thankful!!!!!!!!!!!
We are thankful for the family that God has blessed us with.
Our oldest son, Connor....A miracle, a fighter, an overcomer, a picture of God's love.
Our youngest daughter, Mackenzie...A joy, a beauty, a picture of God's grace.
The love Randy and I share. We are two people committed to a life of fidelity, commitment, Christian virtues, fun, adventure, and family.
Our extended families that bring us not only joy, but strength and faith.
Our friends that bring laughter and thoughtfulness to us daily and encourage us and support us through our journey.
Our country and the freedom we experience.
Our ability, with God's help, to see beauty around us every day even though things aren't always beautiful.
This year at Thanksgiving we step back and we take a moment to ponder the most spectacular blessings of God and the littlest of details.
We thank God that we have not spent an overnight at the hospital with Connor in over a year.
We thank God that Connor has not had to undergo surgery this year.
We thank God for the beautiful & fast birth of Mackenzie.
It goes without saying that WE ARE THANKFUL.
May we never forget to stop and remember and name the blessings of God upon our family.
May we always carry with us an attitude of thankfulness.
May the gratitude that we feel reflect upon those we love and upon those we call family and friends and strangers as well.
We are thankful for our blogging community that has been our support and encouragement. We love sharing our life with you.....the good, the bad, the happy and the sad. Thank you all for being a voice of love in our lives.
We are thankful and we trust that you are too.
May God be glorified as we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving Day.
Let us all join hands around the world today and say.........
We Are Thankful!!!!!!!

Another Milestone For Little Bug!!!!
Daddy and Mama are sooooooooooooo proud of Little Bug because today, November 8th 2007, marks a GREAT....HUGE...milestone................What is this milestone you ask???????????
1 Year hospital free!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You see a year ago today Connor was discharged for the last time from Children's Hospital and has not been admitted to the hospital since then. Outside of occasional clinic appointments we have not been back to Children's in all that time. This is such an accomplishment for us and a huge milestone for Connor. As many of you know that have followed the blog for this past year and half, there were times we wondered if we would ever bring Connor home. We looked at the archives of the blog for last year at this time and we couldn't believe what we saw. We saw a puffy-faced little boy who was still medically frail. We both commented on how God shielded our eyes from how bad things were over our times in the hospital. We can truthfully say that Connor is improving day after day and we couldn't be more proud of him. What a beautiful day that we celebrate this incredible accomplishment for Little Bug.
Daddy and Little Bug gazing at the "You are Special" plate that comes out every time we have a special event in our house. If you look close there's even one candle in his Turkey & Rice dinner tonight. We know that there are still challenges ahead of us and many milestones left to conquer, but we are all up for the challenge and we look forward to each day ahead where we make progress for Connor's future!!!
Lovebug Hugs and Happy Anniversary Connor,
We Love You,
Daddy, Mama, Mackenzie and Abbey

Mackenzie in pink!!!
Ok so here's the deal...We took our first shot at entering Mackenzie into a photo contest so we're asking for your help. She needs your vote to win. All you have to do is click on this link http://links.mkt457.com/ctt?kn=2&m=1157016&r=ODg1NzcwMDE5OQS2&b=0&j=MzU3NTA4NjgS1&mt=2&rj=MzU3NDU3NTES1 and it will ask you to register. You do need to fill out this form and when you press Submit another window will pop up that tells you to check your email because your vote has not been cast yet. Check your email and follow the link to finalize your registration. Once you click on that link a window will pop up that has a whole bunch of offers...You do not need to do anything with that page. You will notice at the very top of that page that it says you are now registered and you can cast a vote once each day. Now you can exit out of that page and you're done. Go back to www. greatamericanphotocontest.com once every day and vote for Mackenzie. When you log on again just press the search botton and type in Mackenzie and choose Washington and press Search. You will see the above picture and then, vote for Mackenzie every day if you'd like.
I know it probably sounds like a whole lot of trouble to just vote, but we're so curious to see what kind of votes she could get. Thanks and we'll see what happens at the end of the month.
What a silly girl!!! Crooked smile and all, we think she's the cat's meow!!
I know it's a little blurry, but couldn't resist posting this cute picture I snapped today of Mackenzie all dressed up in her pink fur vest and jeans.....you'd think we were going to a party or something.....Nope, just Target!!!! Hee Hee
