We arrived home from MN last night around 5:30pm. It was good to walk into the comfort of our own home and to see the smiling faces of our children. We celebrated our 5th anniversary yesterday as well. Not the type of romantic experience one would hope for an anniversary, but as we all know, we'd do anything for our children.
Exhausted from the traveling is an understatement. I am just whooped!!! Tired, sluggish, headache....Ugghhh!!! The kids had a difficult time sleeping last night, so there were lots of moments in the rocking chair. Randy had to leave for the airport again bright and early this morning as he starts back to work this afternoon. So, life moves on......No change, just the typical grind.
It's obvious that Connor missed his toys and Mackenzie a lot. There have been lots of smiles and giggles which does my heart good. Little Alex is getting back into the swing of things getting Mama's milk without any difficulty....let's just hope and pray Mama's milk comes back in 100%.
I was hoping to post more pictures, but a las, Randy took the other computer with him and that's where they are all stored. I will have to post pictures after he returns from this work trip. I think we'll have a 1 or 2 day turnaround before he will leave again for 6 days.
So here we are. Home!!!!
Lovebug Hugs,
Lori

Don't worry about posting any pictures right now, you have your hands full with the kids and unpacking. We prayed for you and LittleBug when you were gone and were so very sorry that things turned out the way they did. I thought for sure they'd solve the mystery of LittleBug's episodes. Please keep in touch. Love, the Emery's
Hi Lori, Karen Carver here. Do you still have my home phone? My Ed went through something like this and I would love to talk to you about it. Give me a call????
Our prayers are with you guys and especially for Connor.
God Bless,
Karen & Crew
Dearest Lori. Take courage in the Lord. I know you have heard this so many times but perhaps you simply need it one more time. The Lord understands and even when the doctors are not - God and Christ our Savior are attentive to every tear, every cry from Connor, every ache you feel. Allow him to be the "lifter of your head". You're in our prayers.

Hi Lori, Connor and family,
It's taken me a while to get online and to your site but I definitely wanted to check in with you guys. Connor- you are amazing!
God's timing really is perfect. He always amazes me. I don't live in Rochester, I actually live 2 1/2 hours away and work as a Child Life Specialist at a hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Last Friday I ended up leaving work early in the morning, drove down to Rochester to visit family and felt like I should play piano at the Gonda. Your letter brought me to tears as what you wrote is exactly my heart for worshipping there.
You will be in my prayers!!!

I'm glad to here you are home- hope Conner is feeling better- sounds like he loves his sister and brother! What a joy to see all of them back together. Wishing Conner well and to be healthy!
