Daddy is the "HAPPIEST DAD"on the face of this earth!

Last night I was surprised by my beautiful wife with the most fantastic Fathers Day gift ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was showered with blessings galore..... gifts...but what takes the cake is while I was rocking our littlebug Lori made me close my eyes, she set up something..and when I opened them I was quickly wisked off in time to a place only a Father knows. My heart was flooded with joy at the journey we had been on thus far. And as the story unfolded I realized "I'm a Daddy"...I'm really a Father now.... I know it may sound strange but last night my heart was so moved that I was transformed somehow to see the importance a Father has in life....and especially the life of his family. I've always wondered at times...why our Father in heaven loves us so much...and now I know....if you look through a Father's eyes you'll know why.

So as the story unfolded my eyes were filled with tears...not of sadness but of joy!!! Connor is my son and I love him so much....I've always prayed that God would allow me to take all Connor's pain and sickness on myself and to give him a life free of hurts but.....that's not God's plan right now....maybe just maybe God's plan is to work on Daddy's heart to show him how much love counts and sometime costs...but in the end is worth so much! Connor thanks so much for being my whom I am well pleased! And sweetheart....all the love on this earth could not compare to the love I have for make my heart soar!!!!! This gift I will treasure the rest of my life.......the greatest gift of all.....

my beautiful family.....this is what life is all love to you Lori and Connor!
Son...Daddy will teach you all about how God loves you...and that's a promise!
....Oh and yes I'll have to teach you about airplanes too...OK :-)

Love Dad

ps....Honey this truely is the greatest gift of all.... "Thank You"...for making my 1st Fathers Day so life heart will never be the same!

ps#2....and for all those wondering how I took this trip back in time....well.... Lori had been working very hard during all the moments she possibly could muster up in the last couple of weeks to develop a music video/CD of "Our Family" life...thanks Honey for the hours and hours of work you did to make this so special!!!!!! It is our treasure.....and its in my heart!

I love you Sweetheart....your husband.....

Hi Lori, Randy & Connor Scott~

What a wonderful weekend full of special times! I am so thankful that Randy had an excellent first Father's Day. Praise the Lord!

I am eager to see you leave Children's Hospital tomorrow. I am wondering if we will make it down in time to wave goodbye to you. I don't want to hold you back from this momentous occasion. We will be down around lunchtime prior to Olivia's audiology appointment. It would be so great to see you and wish you well as you head home. Please let me know if this is a possibility.

I love you,

Auntie Heather & Company

P.S. When you walk into your lovely home I hope that you can read and listen to the lullaby "Welcome Home." These words will have a different meaning for you since the first time I sent them to you after Connor's first arrival home in January. I love you!

Randy,Lori, and Little Bug,
Now that Kyle has graduated and is off on his senior spree I think it's time you mosey on home to Auburn! I remember talking about you leaving the hospital many times but I never in my wildest dreams would have guessed Kyle would graduate before you left. But it is not our place to tell God what to do but to just trust and obey. Finally it is happening!! Tomorrow you can walk out that door, throw your cap in the air and raise your arms in the air in victory. We have waited long and prayed hard for this day. May it be everything you expected and more!! I will miss you not being there to visit with and I'll have to remember your home phone number but it is where you belong. I love you all and I rejoice with you in your victory!
Love Maureen
P.S. Thank you for taking the time to share a very special day with me today at Kyle's graduation. It meant a lot to have everyone there and especially you two. Thank you RaeAnn and Bruce for sitting with Connor so they could come.

HOME?? Oh how my heart sings with joy!!! Lori, I know you probably do not remember this, but, when Eddie was only 2 1/2 months old, we had to take him to the emergency room. He had a very high fever and was very ill. The Dr's told us to call in the family because he most likely would not live through the night. I stand in praise as I tell you that Eddie is now 25 years old!!! Do not ever underestimate the power of prayer!! You and Randy & Little Bug may never know just how many lives you have touched. Our God is an Awesome God!!
Just a silly memory to share with you-we used to always say, "If you have something you really want, just ask RaeAnn to pray" Uffda!!
Happy 1st Father's Day Randy

We are so happy that you get to bring "Little Bug" home today! PRAISE THE LORD!!! I'm sure today will be hectic & wonderful all at the same time. We had wanted to come down to clap & cheer you on towards home but not knowing when exactly you get to leave was going to be hard. We wish everything to go smoothly & that you all have a wonderful homecoming....We love you all & maybe we'll have to have a party later once you all have settled in back home. "HOME" what a WONDERFUL word.

Hi Randy, Lori and Connor~

We just left your room only one hour ago. We are actually still at Children's Hospital up in the family room where we have shared several meals and chats. Randy and Lori, Connor looks great. He is such a Little Bug all dressed up in his jeans and cardigan. He is so sweet! I am so thankful that we could come to see you on "Moving Day!" Now, GO HOME!!!!

We love you three so very much. Thank you for letting us invade your space. Bergen finally met the "BEBE" we have been talking about for so many months. We can't wait to come to your house and play all day with Abby and Connor. But, for now you need some space and a chance to go for a long, leisurely stroll through your neighborhood.

God bless you as you head to Auburn in a few minutes. We will continue to pray for Connor's healing and growth. The next eight weeks will fly by so quickly, so enjoy every moment.

We love you,

Auntie Heather, Cousins Olivia, Brayden and Bergen Luke

(From the Children's Hospital Family Room)

P.S. Randy, I am so glad that you like your Father's Day gifts. I am sure the bee washcloth puppet will come in "hand-y" in and out of the tub. Enjoy playing the squadron card game. We just had to buy it when we first saw it in the National Archives. Love you brother-in-heart!
