For Heaven's Sake, What's Next??

Today came and went with news we did not want to hear. The neurologist confirmed that indeed Connor has some abnormal brain wave activity at the top of his brain in the area called the Vertex. It is probable that this abnormality could cause seizures, but it is not confirmed. We were crushed with this news today as we had so hoped that they would find nothing wrong in Little Bugs brain. They said that the probability of brain damage from these seizures or seizure activity is not likely (Praise the Lord!). They are putting him on another new medication to stop the seizures until he undergoes his open heart surgery. After that time they will try to wean him off the medication and see if the seizures return. If they do, he will be treated with medication, and if they do not return then it is likely that they were not recurrent and they just happened as an isolated event. We will never know the cause of this nor will we know when they started. All we do know is that Little Bug needs our prayers so that he can be free from this seizure activity and be free from another medication. I will try to post more info tomorrow about the progress we are making in other areas. Enjoy the pics we have posted below (there's a lot of them) and once again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and love.

Goodnight and Lovebug Hugs,
Randy and Lori

Randy & Lori,
I told Maureen that I would put Cameron on a worldwide prayer list (worldprayerteam.com). We can never have too many prayers. I pray the little guy had a good day and you received good news.

Randy and Laurie,

Sorry I've been so silent as of late. I have just been beside myself with what to say. Just know that we love you and are praying for Connor and the both of you. Steve will once again ask all of his podcast listeners to pray for Connor, that is also world wide.

May God bless this day for you and make this precious one seizure free.

Love,
The Webb's

Randi & Lori

It was wonderful to talk to you last night. I have caught up on the updates and can not believe that there is something new everyday!! So much to consider!

I carry all three of you in my thoughts and prayers everyday and night.
Abbey did just fine last night and is outside playing already w/Skye and Cassi. I think I'll put them in your backyard today for something a little different.

I hope you have a better day today.

Randy, Lori & Little Bug~

Last night I missed your postings by only a few minutes. I am just kicking myself for not staying up a little bit longer. My bedtime prayers could have been more specific for Connor. But, please know that WE are ALL praying for him and for the two of you. My oh my, what next for our Little Bug? We will pray that the medication will work and that this is an isolated event. We will also pray that Connor can be weaned off of most of his medication after his heart surgery. "Oh Lord, help Connor to be strong and clear his lungs so that he can have his heart surgery and be able to go home. Thank you Lord! Please keep Randy and Lori in your care, especially with Randy on another tour of duty. Amen!"

We are looking forward to our next visit. Let us know if you need anything day or night.

Love,
Auntie Heather, Olivia, Brayden & Bergen

P.S. Thank you for all of the great pictures. And, yes, Connor is THE CUTEST LITTLE BUG IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!

Ok Little Bug,
You are just so cute that I can't wait any longer to come down and kiss your sweet little cheeks!!! I better call your mama and tell her when I can stop by for a little love bug snuggle.
I'll bet those nurses fight over who gets to have their shift with you!
Precious one, Jesus knows every one of your hurts and needs. He loves you and will see you and your parents through this, and it will be victoriously, indeed!
Love you,
Aunt Jacqueline

GREAT pictures! I know it is hard to keep the blog updated, but it helps me so much to have that cute face in mind as I pray.

Thank goodness God is in control.
