Ok...more good news!! This morning the ICU team decided to extibate. So at about 0830 out came that big ole garden hose that was smash up his poor littlebug nose!!!! Yippie...as you can tell Daddy is very happy about that and so is Mom. It didn't take him long to settle into life without the ventilator and his numbers still looked very good. We are so excited that our little guy is doing better and feeling better too. Again thanks for all your prayers...but dont' stop OK !!!!
By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet by my incomplete sentences....this is Dad writing. And I do have some more good news. I sent Lori home!!!! I consider that a great victory!!! Lori has been continually at Connor's side for so long now she just needs a break so finally she's taking one YEAH!!! I hope I can get her to do this more often...time will tell.
I'll try to put up some more pictures soon....but until then
Lovebug hug and kisses......Daddy Mommy and Littlebug

Lori, Get some much needed rest! NO Guilt. We Moms have a way of feeling that way. You deserve a lot a rest for both you & "Little wee bug"! We are rejoicing with every new positive thing the Lord is doing in yours & Connor's life. Yeah & Amen!

We are so glad that the garden hose has been removed, that does not sound pleasant at all.
Lori, we are glad that you finally took a break and went home. You need to have a break and get some rest. Sleep peacefully tonight in knowing that little bug is recovering so well.

What fantastic news. Way to go Connor. You sure are a fighter. Good job Randy having Lori go home - time away from the hospital does wonders for the mind body and spirit. Enjoy your day Lori, sounds like Little Bug is on his way to a full recovery!!

Randy, you are doing great holding your own on the blog. Lori, way to submit to THE MAN - strong women are great when the going get tough, but every now and then they need a little more persuading. Take care of yourselves the kid-S are going to need you in the days ahead.
I am so happy for you and Connor! His successful surgery affirms our faith that our God is always there looking after us, most especially the littlest and most helpless among us.
My friend's little girl, 7-month old Kate from the Philippines, is also about to have open-heart surgery. She has Tetralogy of Fallot.
To those of you who are reading this ... your prayers for Connor have proven to be very compelling before God, because He listened to all of them ...
Please send a few of those same prayers to our Kate down here ... she's going to need all the prayers she could get ...
To Connor, you are so blessed for you are loved by so many, especially by Mom and Dad. Keep going strong and may you have the happiest life!
