Todays pics....

Hi everyone, you wouldn't know it from this picture, but
today was a tough day for me. Thanks for your prayers
for a better day tomorrow.

I think Connor might be thinking in this picture, "Hey
Mama, I don't feel good!! Why are you taking my picture?"

During the one hour tonight that Connor was feeling good,
I took the opportunity to snap a few pics. In between pics
I would pat his little chest and tummy and he almost smiled
for me. Hopefully soon I will catch one of those smiles on
camera!!!

Here's Connor just being the cutest little bug in the world!!!!

Night, night from bug land.
I'm snug as a bug in a rug!!!!!

The colors of the quilt really bring out his beautiful eyes. I hope that he has a speedy recovery from the new infection.

Thoughts of Connor and your family-as always.

Lori,
I have a very close friend who has a brother with Down Syndrome, his name is Frank. Frank is very popular and EVERYONE loves him. He is now in his late 40's. Anyway I was telling my dear friend Pastor Julie about connor and she said all the procedures Connor is having reminds her of all that her brother went through years ago. SHe said he still has all the scars and he too had the feeding tube. He is doing great now but the first little part of his life was very hard. I guess I am sharring this to give you and Randy hope and also if you think about how long ago this was with Frank and NOW they have such higher tech and info. I hope this encourages you today.

Good Morning Lori and Precious Connor,

Oh how we pray that today will be so much better than yesterday and that the Lord will give the doctors wisdom. We know that God is the great physican and we pray His hands upon every touch today. The chorus from Pastor Chris's song has been in my mind, Lori I can picture you and Randy with these words,
Lord here I am with lifted hands to you, yielded to your holiness and power, open my heart to what you want to do I am yours and yours alone, take my life, my heart, my song, I lay it before you. Just like you were saying the other day to beable to trust the Lord with precious Connor.

The pictures are so wonderful of Connor and all your little words make it come so alive through this computer. It's almost like we could put our arms around Connor and take him right out of the pictures. Give him big hugs and loves for grandpa and grandma and lots of love for you and Randy too.

Like you say alittle nugget from Gods word, Isaiah 26:3-4 The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in Thee. Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord, WE HAVE AN EVERLASTING ROCK.

Our love and prayers are with you so much,
Love Dad and Mom XOXOXOXOXO

Lori - A day has not passed that I have not thought and prayed for you and your beautiful son. I love how God has us run in to people at just the right time for such a specific purpose. A bunch of us girls would love to come and take you out to lunch and bless you. I continually quote "Friends are friends forever if the Lord is the Lord of them"; how true for us TBS girls. We are bond together in the Lord. Praying for one another and truly fighting the spiritual battle for one another is POWERFUL. I love you and will continue to pray for you, Randy and Connor. Connor is ABSOLUTELY adorable just like that day I saw you at your follow up visit.

it's been so long oh, God, you seem so far away.

"I need to see Your face again.

A battle in my mind, and sorrow in my heart

It feels like I've been trampled on.

Please turn and look at me; give light back to my eyes.

I'm throwing myself right into Your arms,
I'll lift up my eyes and celebrate Your rescue.
And I will sing out, at the top of my lungs:
You have been good to me
You have been good to me
You have been good to me"
(Psalm 13 - words from the song Chris mentioned)

Somehow it's comforting to know that all of our emotions are okay and God understands them all. We continue to pray & believe for Conner's healing & victory! We love you all!

Lori,
I will be praying for you to "have that peace that surpasses all understanding" today as Randy is preparing to leave this weekend. Your mom called and said today would not be a good day to come up and I TOTALLY understand how you need to cherrish that family time and intimate private moments. We will make it up some time and God knows the best timing for your very intricate individual needs.
Love

Lori ~
You are such a strong woman of faith. I truly admire your strength at such a difficult time with Hospital life, medical lingo, Doctors and a sick son, you radiate Gods love through it all. I so appreciated talking with you on the phone the other evening, it did my heart good to hear your voice. I thank you for being such a good mama to my nephew. I think back to when my own girls were small and question myself if I would have been there, like you are, for Connor. You are a wonderful mother and I know that your strength at times is only from our Lord. I will be praying for you always. Hope you enjoy your Friday with Randy before he leaves to go overseas.

Randy ~
Enjoy your Friday with your beautiful family. I pray that Connor will give you a smile and some coos. They would be great memories that you can take with you as you are away from your family. We will miss you and will be anxiously awaiting your safe return. Remember Psalms 91, God will take care of you and protect you as you are serving our country.

Connor~
I am praying that the Doc's will know the right treatment to administer to you today to get rid of the icky strep in your tiny little body. I am praying that you have a good, restful, peaceful day with your awesome mama and daddy. I love you soooo much and you are the cutest little bug. My heart and prayers are with you always, lovebug hugs and kisses from Auntie Kathy.

we were so glad to finally figure out this blog thing and be able to see the pictues of little Conner. Everyone at Bible study said "so this is little Connor we've all been praying for." It puts a face on our prayers. What a beautiful baby boy he is and how God has blessed him with such a wonderful mom & dad. We know God searched the world over for just the right parents for little Conner because He knew the hard times that lay ahead for your little Bug and that He would need His "choice" people to care for this special litle light from God. Our whole church (LifeSpring!) are holding him up in prayer constantly as well as you two. You have such a great and vast prayer army standing behind you and holding you up before the Lord. We hated to see you leave us but we know God in His perfect wisdom took you close to home so you would have your families there to help you and give you the support you need at this time. Many churches & people who don't even know you are lifting you to the Lord and we pray when you go through those seemingly endless crisis' that you will feel the strength of those prayer. I'd quote my favorite scripture to you but you already have it as one of yours.(Prov. 3:5 & 6) We anxiously wait the picture of you taking little Connor out in his stroller to see the beautiful spring flowers. We love you guy so much. JoAnn & Rip Collins
