BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS !!!!!!!!!!!

Mon and Dad are elated.........Connor came through the surgery as Dr. Purmitt said "Beyond his wildest dreams".....so littlebug came through fantastic!!!!

Let all praise be given to the Lord, Connor is back in his ICU room and he is stable. We just left him moments ago and he is pink like any normal little baby should be. His heart is beating on its own and his lung are still be supported on the ventulator. All his pressures look fantastic and we anticipate a full recovery!!! We still have a long haul with his lungs, but the heart is strong and we will give God the glory!!!!!!!!

We are exhausted from our day of waiting so we will post again tomorrow with pictures!!! Continue praying for these critical first few days as Connor recovers!!!

Lovebug Hugs,
Randy, Lori & Little Bug

Hey Little Bugman,

This is your Uncle Dan from Virginia and I have been watching you closely. I have yet to post a comment on your blog however, so this is my first...

Wow! Can you believe some people actually think there might not be a God in Heaven? You my little friend are a pure and perfected example of who God is. Your little life has become a central point for many people to come and see God working and to catch a quick and sudden glimpse of Gods hands in motion.

Since I live so far away from you I have not had the privilege to meet you up and close, but in your funny little ways I already seem to know you so well. You get a good night’s sleep and thanks for teaching us all so much about who exactly God is.

Sweet Dreams Little One,

Dan

Dear Lori & Randy,

Just wanted to let you know I am still holding tight to Connor's hand. I knew he would be just fine. We babies have a great way of making Mommies & Daddies worry. Sleep well...I'll be with Connor in his dreams. We're hanging out on the North star tonight...seemed appropriate to celebrate on the biggest & brightest :)

PRAISE THE LORD! The words that come to my mind are those of a song I've song with preschoolers for years. "My God is so big, so strong and so mighty. There's NOTHING my God cannot do!"

Randy and Lori, I'm sure your hearts are soaring. Rest well tonight in the confidence and HOPE of our Savior.

Connor,
You are truly a mighty man of God in the making. I love you little Bug. Keep getting better.

Love you!

We thank the Lord for all your prayers no words could express what's in our hearts as parents and grandparents.

Today as all the family sat in the Family Room at the hospital we were thanking the Lord for His Mighty power and for the army of prayer warriors that we may never meet and I remembered alittle paragraph I have written in my Bible that I have shared with our children and wanted to share it with all of you. Because through this journey with Connor we have all become family.

WE ARE FAMILY
Since before any of us were born, God planned for us to share our lives with each other. He knew exactly how our atrengths and weaknesses would balance one another, and the depth of love, understanding and commitment we would learn to feel. He knew that the richness of our separate characters would be developed through the hard tiomes, and that mutual trust and respect would be born as a result of overcoming the trials together, He knew that we would laugh together, and cry together, He knew we needed each other....to hug, to help, to teach, to serve....to love.
by G.Copeland
and to add the biggest thing to pray and to trust God because He truly has everything in control.
Thank you for becoming family. We have been and will continue to be encouraged by every comment and all the love that is expressed in words. Many of you we know and we can see your faces as we read and for those who we don't know we pray that someday we will. The Lord is the One who connects our lives.
Connor continues to need our prayers for his recovery thank you so very much "Family"

With love and thankfulness fo each of you

Lori and Randy
We are elated for you guys. Today while I was praying I prayed that the doctors lives would be changed from the inside out in amazement of the outcome of connor's surgery and that they would go home tonight reflected and know that it had to be God and no more questioning our Miraculous God. I was also thinking about how connor is such a Victorious young man and a TRUE CONQUEROR!! He is also an incredible missionary and has already been on the longest and hardest mission (harder than some of the oldest missionaries around). I then thought that if he can endure this journey thus far that he can definitely endure the rest. Connor is incredible and it is because of Our Lord Jesus Christ and his awesome Christian heritage. We know that he will only continue to serve the Lord with the rest of his life! Once again, we are so thrilled for you guys and when we got the great news today (all the way in Idaho) James and I had tears of happiness for you guys! PRAISE THE LORD once again for all of his faithfullness
Love

PRAISE THE LORD!!! This is the first chance I have had to post, but believe me, even while away from the computer I had my way of checking in the entire day yesterday. Way to go Lord, Connor, Doctors & Prayer Warriors! I love you guys and will continue to pray a quick and full recovery. Thank you Connor, for all of your hard work little bug! You are an amazing fighter. My prayer for you is that you have done all of the fighting you will need to do for a lifetime. Lets pray smooth sailing from here! Lori and Randy, as parents, worry, prayer, and trusting the Lord with every minute of our children's lives is something that we learn is necessary; But my friends, you have learned that in a very concentrated amount of time and it shows in the words on the screen. You have both blessed my heart, and the opportunity to pray for Connor has blessed my soul. I Love You! Have a fantastic day of just sitting in the warmth of God's blessings and although Connor still has a trek ahead of him, I pray that you are able to give God even more of the burden than you realize that you are carrying and enjoy his healing process.

Mitch says to say Hi & Congratulations!

Prayers Continue,
Andrea Austin

TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!!!

Lori & Randy:
I have been following your Little Bug from Iowa for some time now and have been praying much! I was overjoyed at your WONDERFUL report.

Our God is truly a prayer answering God!

May God now give you an extra portion of His rest, peace, strength and above all His joy.

Lori, please give your mom a grandma to grandma hug for me. (Tell her it is from her "36 egg" friend.)

God's continued blessings to all of you.

What rejoicing is going on in heaven and on earth, on your behalf. We are so thrilled to hear that all went well with the surgery. What a burden must be lifted. I realize there is still a road of recovery ahead but the major hurdle has been cleared.

We will continue to pray for you and Connor that all things go better than the doctors plan for.

Over 34,000 visitors to this sight! Wow! How lives have been touched and literally changed. Faith has been challenged and we have truly seen God's miraculous power. We have seen what it's like when we see hundred's of people come together for one purpose in prayer. No one can ever say there is no power in prayer!! I am sure there are unbelievers who have seen this blog sight out of curiosity to see Connor's update, and we know they have be touched because they have seen the power of our Lord in Connor's life and also in the lives of you two Randy & Lori. We know that unbelivers will come to know Jesus through this journey you have had to travel. You two have continued to be the Godly example in your marriage and a Godly example in life in general to everyone you have come in contact with at Childrens', your neighbor hood and many many other places. People will no who Connor is!! We pray for you today little bug and for you Mommy & Daddy too! We pray you continue to grow healthy and strong. You are that mighty Man of God. You have begun so early in life touching lives around you. Our God has a mighty mighty plan for you life. We are so excited to watch that plan unfold!!! Way to go Connor!!!
We love you!!
