Surgery Info...

Ok, the name of the surgery that Connor will be having tomorrow is Laryngomalacia. He may also have a bronchiolscope if they feel it is necessary. I just came up from seeing Connor and we were moved again. We are now in another room with a roommate. Connor slept through the entire move and when I left him he was sucking away on his pacifier while he slept. I could have watched him all night, but our sweet nurse Brooke encouraged me to go get some sleep. So off I go to my sleeping closet for a few hours of sleep. I'd say rest, but all you mothers out there know that we do not rest until we know our babies are healthy and happy and tucked into their own beds. Oh for the sweet joy it will bring to tuck my little bug in his own bed in his airplane room!!! Better days in the promised land are on my mind as I tuck my tired body into bed.

Lovebug Hugs,
Lori

Of Course ours prayers will continue to be with the two of you, Connor, the surgeon and the team of nurses and doctors that support him. It is amazing how God brings us to just the right place for the needed help. You mentioned that you came in for a fever and now Connors undergone these surgeries. How much more wonderful will his life be now that they are going to fix this breathing situation. God is always faithful to give us what we need. We may not understand His path, but He is loving and faithful.

How wonderful to know that Connors life is resting quietly in God's hand.

We love you All!

Lori and Randy,
Just like your dad, I spent all this bunch of time typing a comment and then I did something wrong and it disappeared.

I am so glad they found that occlusion and will take care of it so your little sweetie won't have to deal with that anymore. Connor is such an insiration and a stong fighter!

Good for you for taking a rest in the sleeping closet! It is a marathon and not a sprint so resting when you can is a good idea.

Lori, Thank you for your prayers and comments on our blog for our little Brent.
Love Susan

Dear Randy, Lori & Conner:
We so appreciate the blog spot to be able to keep up to date on Conners Progress.
You are loved and our prayers are with you daily, many times, for strength & endurance.
We will especially be praying this afternoon when our Precious Baby goes through the laser procedure.
May the angels be there with Conner and may the Lord guide the surgeons hand as he performs this procedure. We are all praying that this will ease his breathing. That little "Bug" has endured so much in these few months.
Conner, You are Jesus "Little Lamb" and he holds you close to his heart. YOU ARE LOVED"
Our prayers are reaching Heaven for Brent & Jake also.
Love & Prayers,
Grandpa & Grandma Robertson

Good Morning Lori and Randy and Precious Connor,

Oh my how our prayers are with you today and for the guidance of the doctor's hands as they do this surgery for Connor. Just like you said Lori you came for the fever but the Lord knew the day's ahead and His timing is so perfect. Dad and I read this following verse this morning and just have to tell you and Randy too especially fom the amplified version Hebrews 4:16
"Let us fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace--the throne of God's unmerited favor [to us sinners]; that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need --appropriate help and WELL-TIMED HELP, COMING JUST WHEN WE NEED IT.
Oh Lord we draw so near to your throne today for our precious Connor and his daddy and mama Lord we come boldly to ask for your guidance for the doctors and Your healing hand in Connors body. Thank you Lord for what You are doing Help us to trust you Lord in Jesus name we ask you.

Give Connor lots of lovebug hugs for us ok and for you and Randy too. That's kinda like a love huddle with Jesus arms around all three of you at the same time.:)

We'll talk to you later ok

Lots of Love Dad and Mom XOXOXOXOXO

Floppy airway-laryngomalacia, my Elainah has this with an added piece being that includes her lungs. I mentioned this in the last comment. They say this often occurs from having a breathing tube, sometimes it is a separate congenital defect. She has not had a surgery to correct the airway, but she has had a few bronchiolscopes.

Prayers for your family from my family to yours today. Hopefully the surgery will go quickly and this will aid in producing a better breathing ability for him.

I hope you get some much needed rest.
